Learning myths and how to crush them

The full title of this session from Training Conference 2024 was, “Learning myths, misconceptions, and misperceptions (and how to crush them.”

These “myths” generally originated from misapplied findings from research studies. Research typically involves controlled studies with small groups (definitely smaller than the total population). Over time, these myths have been shared, cited, documented, and added to textbooks on teaching.
