The theme for Creative Mornings in January was Rise. For Creative Mornings Chattanooga, our speaker was Krantzsy Boursiquot, a local spoken word artist.

Krantzsy had the 100 or so attendees break into 4 groups. Each group was given a line of the poem – Roses are red, violets are blue, sugar is sweet, and so are you – and tasked with coming up with 3 additional lines for each phrase. I was in the “Sugar is sweet” group.
